Details Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will help you get transferred to your hotel. There are no planned activities for the day, thus you may check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350 m)
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara by Tourist Bus

Travel duration: 6 to 7 hours

Maximum altitude: 1,350 m

Trek distance: approx. 204 km

Our guide or representative will receive you at hotel early morning. We will get into a tourist bus to Pokhara.

The tourist bus is well facilitated. They have comfortable seats and wide windows. The bus stops twice in the 6 hours duration. At the stops, we will have lunch. Get some snacks if you need them.

We will reach Pokhara. Pokhara is the gateway to the Annapurna region. We will check into a hotel in Lakeside Pokhara.

We can enjoy around the lakeside in the evening. There are lots of tourists in Pokhara. Most of them stay in the lakeside area.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk

Drive duration: 3 hours

Maximum altitude: 1,950 m

Wake up early in the morning, grab a super delicious breakfast at the hotel, and then prepare all gear required for your journey.

Get ready to get on a jeep, we will drive on an unpaved road to Kyu Mi Danda through Nayapul and Birethati, passing through the Modi River, various villages of different ethics, and the thrilling valley of Annapurna. It would take 3 hrs to reach Ghandruk from Pokhara.

The Ghnandrunk village is heavily habitat by the Gurung people of Nepal. Along with the Gurung culture, tradition, customs, cuisine, lifestyle, and museums, you encounter magnificent views of Annapurna South, Annapurna III, Machhapuchre, Hiuchuli, and Gangapurna.

Ghandrunk village, the first stop of 7 day Annapurna base camp trek, offers good hospitality and unique sights, making the trip unforgettable. Ghandruk Village alone is the all-time favorite destination of both domestic and international tourists.

Overnight at a beautiful hotel at Ghandrunk.

Day 4: Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa

Today, the trek begins with a gentle ascend to Ghandrukkot. It will take us nearly an hour to reach Ghandrukkot. On reaching Komrong Danda, we take a steep descent to Komrong Khola.

From Komrong Khola, the trek route goes uphill again. On ascending the trail, we will reach Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a big village inhabited by Gurung people. It is also a gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary trek.

From Chhomrong, the trail again drops down towards a river and climbs up to Sinuwa. There are lodges at Sinuwa. If the weather is clear, we will see beautiful mountain sceneries.

Day 5: Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali

Trek distance: approx. 10.9 km

Trek duration: 6 hours

Maximum altitude: 3,230 m

Early in the morning, you get to watch out for the distant views. During clear weather, you will see a very beautiful mountain vista from Sinuwa. After having a nice breakfast, we will set off to Deurali.

We will start trekking by climbing up through the jungles. After a climb and a descent, we will reach Bamboo (2335m). From Bamboo, we will walk uphill to reach Dovan to Himalaya village before reaching Deurali.

In the evening, we will enjoy sightseeing. The mountains are lovable, and the atmosphere so serene.

Day 6: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp

Trek Distance: approx. 7.7 km

Trek Duration: 5 hours

Maximum altitude: 4,130 m

Today is the day! We will visit the Annapurna Base Camp. We will start the day by gently ascending through the vast pastures on the lap of towering hillocks.

The uphill trail takes us to Macchapuchre Base Camp in around 2 or 2.5 hours. We will get an astounding vista of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Gandharva Chuli, etc.

We will continue further to the Annapurna Base Camp. Reaching the Annapurna Base Camp is an experience of mixed emotions. The feeling of finally standing at the base of Mt. Annapurna. It’s exciting!

During winter, a thick layer of snow piles around the base camp area. Keep yourself warm. The experiences at the Annapurna Base Camp are amazing.

Day 7: Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

You will wake up early in the morning for a beautiful sunrise view. The view when the sun shines upon the Himalayas is amazing. We will see very nice views of Annapurna I, Barahi Shikhar, Tent Peak, Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Gandharva Chuli.

After enjoying the splendid sunrise views, we will have breakfast at the Annapurna Base Camp. The trek today is a complete descend through the Bamboo and Rhododendron forests.

We will trek all the way down to Bamboo via Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya, and Dovan.

Day 9: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Samrung Khola then drive to Pokhara

Travel duration: 3 to 4 hours trek ; 3 hours drive

Maximum altitude: 1,780 m

We will trek from Jhinu Danda to Siwai. On the trail, we can enjoy the local villages, terraced fields. We will also meet with some cheerful locals who are ready to say “Namaste, with warm smiles, always!”

We will take a drive from Samrung Khola to Pokhara. Getting back to Pokhara after a walk into remoteness is a different feeling. Enjoy the city lights and cheerful evening in Pokhara. A cozy stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning by Tourist Bus

Trek distance: 204 km

Trek duration: 7 to 8 hours

Maximum altitude: 1,350 m

Bidding the Annapurna Mountains goodbye, you will then drive back to Kathmandu, following the same highway as before. Upon reaching the city, you will be dropped off at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Final departure

The final day in Nepal is the last opportunity to enjoy shopping and touring Kathmandu Valley's cultural metropolis before departing for Tribhuvan International Airport on time.

Please note that this is the only guideline and outline program from day-by-day itinerary. There can be a lot of changes in those dates as per the weather and mountain conditions as well as personal health condition.

Day 8: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda

Trek distance: approx. 8.5 km

To reach Jhinu Danda from Bamboo, we descend through the Sinuwa and Chhomrong village. The descent involves a lot of steep ascents too. Today, the walk can be tiresome.

The trail from Bamboo goes steeply up to Kuldi Ghar. From Kuldi Ghar, the trail is quite flat till we reach Sinuwa. From Sinuwa, the trail gradually descends to Chhomrong Khola.

The rest of the trail to Jhinu Danda is a stone staircase. We will walk for about an hour to reach Jhinu Danda.

At Jhinu Danda, there is a famous hot spring. It is a natural hot water spring. There you can relax under the hot water which is a perfect refreshment to tired muscles.
