Details Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by one of our representatives who will help you get transferred to your hotel. There are no planned activities for the day, thus you may check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350 m)
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara by Tourist Bus

Travel duration: 6 to 7 hours

Maximum altitude: 1,350 m

Trek distance: approx. 204 km

Our guide or representative will receive you at hotel early morning. We will get into a tourist bus to Pokhara.

The tourist bus is well facilitated. They have comfortable seats and wide windows. The bus stops twice in the 6 hours duration. At the stops, we will have lunch. Get some snacks if you need them.

We will reach Pokhara. Pokhara is the gateway to the Annapurna region. We will check into a hotel in Lakeside Pokhara.

We can enjoy around the lakeside in the evening. There are lots of tourists in Pokhara. Most of them stay in the lakeside area.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk

Trek distance: approx. 8.6 km

Trek duration: 5 to 6 hours

Maximum altitude: 1,940 m

We will drive from Pokhara to Nayapul in a private vehicle. The actual trek starts from Nayapul.

Nayapul to Ghandruk is a short and easy trail. The walk isn’t so difficult. The trek route is a part of many popular trekking trails in the Annapurna region. You will meet fellow trekkers who are doing Ghorepani poon hill trek, Annapurna circuit trek, Annapurna luxury trek, Khopra ridge trek, etc

The trek route doesn't involve very high ascents and descents. The trek is full of amazement and joy. We walk across many places like Birethanti, Chumrung, Kimchi, Chane, etc. We will walk past the terraced rice fields.

Rejoicing the beautiful nature and diverse culture along the trail, we will trek to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a small and beautiful Gurung village. These days, Ghandruk is developing into a popular tourist destination for internal and external tourism.

The village is popular for its unique identity and culture. From Ghandruk village we can see some spectacular views of Annapurna Himal, Hinchuli, and Macchapuchre Himal. The lifestyles, traditions, cultures, and warm hospitality is remarkable.

Day 4: Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani

Resting up in Ghandruk, our next day begins with a walk to Tadapani. After finishing our warm breakfast early morning, we will embark on our trek to our destination Tadapani at an altitude of 2590 meters. The trail combines a forest trail with a small stream. Following the watercourse climbing through the forest paths, you will reach Tadapani enjoying the majestic views of the Annapurna massifs.

Day 5: Trek from Tadapani to Bhedi Kharka

Walking down the forest roads reaching Modi Khola, now the ascend starts. We will ascend till we reach Landruk. From Landruk, we will walk the terraced rice fields in Bhedi Kharka. This trek from Tadapani to Bhedi Kharka takes around 6-7 hours.

Day 6: Trek from Bhedi Kharka to Khopra Danda

Today we will finally reach our main destination of the trek, Khopra Danda. From Bhedi Kharka, we will climb uphill through the trekking trails and reach Khopra Danda. With unimaginably beautiful views of the Annapurna range along with other glorious mountains, you will have your patience and hard work’s worth in seconds. The beauty will leave you astonished.

Day 7: Trek from Khopra Danda to High Camp

Today, we will reach the highest altitude of our trek. From Khopra Danda, we will walk uphill for about 3 and a half hours. The climb is filled with high meadows with many wild yaks grazing. This is a beautiful sight to see away from all the crowds and vehicles. The green meadows with wild yaks grazing on it is truly a beautiful sight. After 3 hours of walk, we will reach the high camp (4,240 meter). We will stay the night here for acclimatization.

Day 10: Trek from Ghorepani to Nayapul and an hour drive to Pokhara

Spending the night in Ghorepani, you will go to Poonhill for an early sunrise view of the mountains. Poonhill viewpoint provides you with the glorious view of the mountains gleaming under the beautiful morning sunlight. The massifs look beautiful and calming under the morning sun. Then, you will return to Ghorepani and then trek down to Nayapul after having breakfast. You will then leave for Pokhara.

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu early in the morning by Tourist Bus

Trek distance: 204 km

Trek duration: 7 to 8 hours

Maximum altitude: 1,350 m

Bidding the Annapurna Mountains goodbye, you will then drive back to Kathmandu, following the same highway as before. Upon reaching the city, you will be dropped off at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 12: Final departure

The final day in Nepal is the last opportunity to enjoy shopping and touring Kathmandu Valley's cultural metropolis before departing for Tribhuvan International Airport on time.

Please note that this is the only guideline and outline program from day-by-day itinerary. There can be a lot of changes in those dates as per the weather and mountain conditions as well as personal health condition.

Day 8: Hike from High Camp to Khopra Danda

After spending the night in High Camp, we will now return back to Khopra Danda. Surrounded by the awe-inspiring views of the mountains, you will make the descent back to Khopra Danda today.

Day 9: Trek from Khopra Danda to Ghorepani

Trekking back from Khopra Danda to Ghorepani, you get to experience the local culture and lifestyle of the people there. The majority of the population there are Ghara and Sikha who live in Pun Magar Villages. They are very hospitable people. Along with the culture and lifestyle of the local people, you also get to see the beautiful traditional farming lands with Rhododendron filled trails.
