Details Itinerary

Day 1: Trek from Lobuche to Lobuche Peak High Camp

Trek distance: approx. 5 km

Trek duration: 5 to 6 hours

Maximum altitude: 5,500 m

The trek from Lobuche Lodge to Lobuche Peak High Camp involves a steep and challenging ascent. Starting at Lobuche Lodge, situated at around 4,940 meters (16,207 feet), climbers head towards the high camp, located at approximately 5,500 meters (18,045 feet). This segment involves navigating rocky terrain and ice fields, with significant altitude gain. The trek is demanding due to the high elevation and requires careful acclimatization and physical preparation. The high camp provides a crucial rest point before the final push to the summit.

Day 2: Summit push - trek down to Thukla

The sole goal of climbing Lobuche Peak will get accomplished today. Your breakfast will be ready quicker than before as you have to start the climb early. You will approach the southern ridge through steep and ice tracks. The ropes, crampons, and ice-axes will finally come to usage. With the assistance of your guide, you will head upward on the technical parts of Lobuche Peak. After climbing the last part i.e. 45 degrees sloped hill, you will be at the summit point of Lobuche East.

Your heart will pump out with the joy of climb success. Your celebration will become more happening with the wide panorama of the Everest region. The whole Everest region is viewable from the summit of Lobuche peak and that eyeshot will make you realize more the trip is worth every pain. After a glorious time of your life at the Lobuche summit, you will descend towards the high camp of this peak. We will trek Phiriche and we see the condition of our body,

Day 3: Thukla - Lukla by heli or trek down

A helicopter flight from Thukla to Lukla provides a swift and picturesque return from the Everest region. This option offers breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas while significantly reducing travel time compared to the trek. It is particularly advantageous for those wishing to avoid the lengthy and demanding journey back to Lukla.

Alternatively, you may choose to trek back with your guide.

Please note that this is the only guideline and outline program from day-by-day itinerary. There can be a lot of changes in those dates as per the weather and mountain conditions as well as personal health condition.
