Day 8: Contingency Day: Flexibility for Summit

This day is kept in reserve to provide flexibility in case the summit attempt on Day 7 is interrupted by weather.

  • If the summit is delayed: we use this day as an additional opportunity to climb. After the attempt, we descend and return to the hotel in Terskol if we had stayed in the mountain hut.

  • If the summit was achieved earlier: the contingency day becomes a chance to rest and recover — either a full day of relaxation at the hut or back at the hotel in Terskol.

Day 10: Final departure

Early morning, after breakfast and final packing, we transfer from the Elbrus region to Mineralnye Vody Airport (MRV). From there, you’ll be ready to board your flight to Moscow, and continue your journey back home.

( IMPORTANT NOTE: *Our group transfer from the hotel to the airport starts early, please plan your flight to Moscow from 2 pm afternoon onwards.)

Day 0: Travelling day to Moscow

Once all participants have confirmed their attendance, we will schedule a meeting to finalize the travel day itinerary. Given the numerous airline options available for reaching the destination, it is essential to plan effectively to accommodate everyone’s preferences. During this meeting, we will review the preliminary schedule, including timings, activities, and meal arrangements, and make any necessary adjustments. Your feedback will be crucial to ensure the plan is suitable for everyone. Please confirm your participation by completing the booking payment, after which we will coordinate the details collaboratively.

Day 1: Moscow

We keep this day as a contingency buffer in case of flight or baggage delays. If everything runs smoothly, the day becomes an opportunity to explore Moscow, enjoy some sightseeing, and settle in before the journey to the Caucasus begins. Overnight in Moscow near to airport.

Day 9: Contingency Day: Celebration & Recognition

This day is dedicated to celebrating the expedition and recognizing each climber’s achievement:

  • Celebration: in the evening, we gather for a well‑deserved celebration of the climb.

  • Recognition Ceremony: each participant receives a summit certificate and a custom Peak Journey pin collar to commemorate the journey.
